Filed under: Texans, AFC SouthHouston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is currently 1st in the league with average yards per game, 2nd in the league in yards, and 3rd in the league in receptions. And he doesn’t even think is timing is completely back with quarterback Matt Schaub yet:
If someone has a nine-catch game, 10-catch game, or 11-catch game - so do you think there is some type of rhythm there? You know, I still don’t think it’s like the type of connection we had when Matt first got here and then I got injured. That season, at the beginning of the season, it was just like - I think it’s night and day compared to now because after every play me and Matt would come to the side lines and we would say the exact same things to each other. He could tell me why he didn’t throw me the ball and things like that. We were on the same page, and this year I missed most of training camp and I didn’t play until like the third preseason game, so I wouldn’t say that it’s where it was before.
