--Texans QB Matt Schaub said he is very frustrated about the latest injury that has caused him to miss time on the field. His torn MCL will likely make him miss four weeks.
"I felt like I was starting to play really well and things were starting to come together for us," Schaub said. "To go down with an injury, it's very frustrating but it's part of the game and it's something that I have to deal with."
Schaub said he has re-watched the hit by Jared Allen that caused the injury, and said he does consider it was out of the regulations.
"The ball was already gone and a player went for my leg, which isn't what they are supposed to be doing. So, that's all I can say."
--RB Ahman Green plans to play this week, but he realizes it won't be easy to gain many yards against the Ravens defense. Green has already watched quite a bit of film on the Ravens, and said their blitz packages make it difficult for offenses to run or pass.
"Yeah because they're tied with Pittsburgh for No. 1 defense in the league," Green said. "They blitz the run. They blitz the pass. They've got aggressive guys. They've got physical guys. They've got big guys that can do the things they want to do as a defense. Mentally, I'm going to be ready and our offense is all going to be ready to know that they're going to be basically sending the house."
BY THE NUMBERS: 179 -- First downs gained by the Texans in eight games. It ranks them second in the NFL.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "Actually the one year I do remember playing them during the regular season was the year after they won the Super Bowl, they came to Lambeau and we knew what type of defense they had. I don't think as a team we had over a hundred yards rushing, but we were effective. I think I had 60 myself. We won the game, but it was a grind-it-out game. We knew that going into it, just like we know it this week. When I say he, (LB) Ray (Lewis), he has his defense prepared. You can tell by film how aggressive they are and how talented they are." -- RB Ahman Green, when asked about Ray Lewis and the Baltimore defense.
