Houston Texans Notes, Quotes 2008-12-16
--Texans QB Matt Schaub was sacked three times and hit numerous other times by the Titans on Sunday. But he kept getting back up. Jevon Kearse was constantly harassing Schaub, who made it clear to the Titans that he wasn't going anywhere.

"He got up one time and was like, 'Good job, Freak. Good job 90,'" Kearse said. "I was like, 'I don't want to hear any good job. I want the ball.'"

--The penalties were high for both teams Sunday. The Texans were called for 11 penalties and a total of 127 yards. The Titans had seven penalties for 64 yards.

One of the more costly penalties was a helmet-to-helmet contact against Cortland Finnegan on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. The 15-yard penalty helped set up the Texans for their game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter.

Finnegan may get fined by the league for his hit. After the game, he was asked about the penalty.

"If I did, I was just giving him a quick, you know, kiss, welcoming him back to Houston you know from the Oilers so that is about all that is," Finnegan said.

--Texans defensive tackle DelJuan Robinson had the best game of his young career. The second-year player out of Mississippi State had four tackles - three of which were tackles for loss.

"We've been drilling it all week that we have stop the run, we have to stop the run," Robinson said. "I just read my keys and got off the football. I also had a teammate from college on the offensive line (tackle David Stewart) and we kind of talked smack. So I had to say, 'Hey, we're here to play.'"
